Fort Myers Beach – 5 miles
Want to bury your feet in sugary sand and watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico? Visitors travel from all over the world to enjoy this seven-mile-long natural barrier island with never-ending options to eat, drink, relax and enjoy water sports, such as parasailing. Stroll over to Times Square, pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining area, to mingle with the crowd and hear live music or rent bikes and find your own desolate slice of paradise further down the beach. You’ll love living in paradise!

Sanibel Island – 6 miles
Sanibel Island is justly famed for its sunsets, lighthouse and luxurious resorts. In addition to the wonderful J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, the beaches are famous for their shells, and shorebirds gather there in the hundreds, too. Fine accommodations, luscious dining, art galleries, fishing, and just plain relaxation will make this visit one of your favorite ways to spend a day off.

Lakes Regional Park – 1 mile
A short jog or bike ride away, Lakes Regional Park is a 279-acre public park that features beautiful nature trails, lakes, and gardens. Visitors can relax, exercise and explore at Lakes Park with several miles of both paved and unpaved trails, boardwalks, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, picnicking, bird watching, and gardens. Lakes Park offers two playgrounds and water parks, a miniature train, railroad museum and concession facilities with food sales, bike and watercraft rentals.

Shopping, Dining and Entertainment
South Fort Myers enjoys world-class shopping and dining options. The boutique Belle Tower Shops are just 3 miles away, and the magnificent Coconut Point Mall is an 11-mile trip. Both feature international brands and an array of dining choices for all tastes. Art galleries and energetic nightlife are also nearby in historic Downtown Fort Myers or head south to the famous Fifth Avenue in Naples for even more exquisite shopping, fine dining, and entertainment.

Venetian Pointe is located in an A-rated school system that provides a happy, safe and effective learning environment with many extracurricular activities for students. The Lee County public school system offers open enrollment allowing students to apply to the schools of their choice. The community is also located near the Canterbury School, Fort Myers’ only truly independent, college-preparatory school. Southwest Florida’s two state colleges, Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) and Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) are in close proximity to Venetian Pointe.
