Schools
Having built its first school house in 1880, the Village of Addison has a long and storied tradition of excellent academics. Today, the village has seven public elementary schools, a junior high school and two high schools.

In addition, a branch of the College of DuPage is located in Addison, as is Technology Center of DuPage and DeVry University. Addison Elementary School District 4 works diligently to ensure that its students are prepared for the 21st century, especially in the area of technology. From public to private schools including Driscoll High School which has continuously won State Championships in their Football & Baseball Programs, Addison has the best education there is to offer.

Addison has been extremely successful at attracting and retaining industry and business within the village due to the proactive and forward-thinking actions of its elected officials.
